Night vision doesn’t do squat and the darkness doesn’t seem to have much effect on enemies. Pretty much from Pripyat to the end it’s hellish due to the lethality of the enemies. It pretty much screws up any scripted combat though so if you are like me and don’t want any of your buddies to die you’ll have to be savescummy.
I liked having to be really careful and being able to put people down quickly, but they can also do the same to you. There is more realistic damage if that’s your thing.
Totally gorgeous.įinished up the game tonight, besides the visuals the mod is pretty good overall. Ended up using the Autumn Aurora 2.1 mod and it made the game look the best I’ve ever seen it. Got the itch to dive back into the original STALKER and see what mods are cool these days.
